Straight from them, you better get some hood pin's, tested by me at 160mph it will try to fly away if you don't have them.

I had a Fiber Images CF Hood and it weighed about the same as the stock one. Good quality Hood I must say never had any problems. It locks just as good as the original. Only problem was didn't have the windshield sprayers... =[

back from the dead.

So how does the trunk "function"? I see a spot to drill keyhole if you want one, so it doesn't automatically use that. But also read you need to remove the trunk springs, or the trunk bows from the pressure. What does that leave for getting the thing open? Looking for an option on a street car, that you don't want the trunk just latched externally that can be broken into.

cheers

I'm in the same boat. I've got a seibon cf hood and have looked around for another stocker or thought of potentially buying another cf. I originally was thinking of painting my seibon (as it has faded a little bit and is looking a little tired) but it honestly shakes around so damn bad in the wind here that I think I just want to change it up. Any windy days on the highway make me nervous. It was on the car when I bought it....

Where are you getting them and how much? I need a hood and trunk lid and don't want Seibon. I've had 2 VIS cf hoods and both were garbage. Fitment was good but the heat from the engine bay twisted it and I had about a 1" gap on the passenger side. Then the cracking began after about a year. I google Fiber Images and nothing comes up
