Evo 9 SE available in white?

I've been looking for quite a while now, and I was wondering if the Evo9 was ever available in Wicked White when sold as SE trim? Anybody out there who've see any? I see tons of MRs, lots of RSs and even some MRs w/ SE add-ons, but I'm looking for a WW Evo9 SE.

Nope

Mitsubishi made a huge mistake not offering the SE in white.... MANY people, including myself, would have bought one of those.

EDIT: and btw there is no such thing as a WW MR SE either.

What about the se do you want? You pretty much can make a WW evo look like its an se. There really is no difference between an se and a gsr aside from some aluminum panels, lip, red stitched seats and HIDs. I really never understand the debate between different trims of the IX. Its the same car to me.

The car I wanted them to build was a red SE, but alas, no such luck.

Just buy a white MR.

Red Recaro seats > black leather seats, plus no 40lbs sunroof on the top = win, tht's why wanted an SE, but I guess it don't exist, so what the hell

Thanks guys

You just described an ssl package. Most IX gsr don't have this option. The IX seats are identical except for some tiny red stitch on the se seats.

Just trying to help so you don't limit your search.

The SE and the MR SE are really quite similar, and the SE and the MR aren't that different at least when it comes to the important stuff:

The SEs are comparatively harder to find. The Bilsteins on the MR are worth it (either on an MR, or swapped onto a non MR) unless you plan on replacing the suspension, IMHO.

unless you are going to track the hell out of the car.... the extra weight of the roof is pointless.... get some SE Stitched seats and an SE lip and call it a day.

you have 1 option if you want the lighter roof and the transmission doesn't matter... get an MR, swap the seats and lip... and your done.

I agree about the trims of the IX being kinda pointless except for the 5 or 6 speed tranny.

Are the SEs even numbered? Like how many were actually made that made them that special?? The 07 STI Limiteds were at least numbered by Subaru and had a plate to show which number of the 800 you actually had.

Same here. No such luck, so I bought the GG. It seemed closer to an actual color than the silver and the black. My buying a new Evo without an aluminum roof was simply out of the question. It was a non-negotiable item.

Just buy a white MR.
Agreed. It's essentially the same car with a 6-speed, the Bilsteins, and a few trim pieces.

you guys think i'm cheating if i've been fantasizing about the wicked white instead of my tarmac black? Also to add on that, I've been thinking bout dressing her up in white. Is that cheating?
