Just installed my 3rd front lip in 2 1/2 years of ownership. My last lip (OEM SE) is destroyed.. I'm wondering how many lips you guys have gone through? Especially the guys in Cali.. Lol.

I find the OEM SE dips way to low if your car is lowered. I'm still on my OEM lip even though I am lowered, and don't find it too bad as long as you creep up those inclines!

so far 2 , my car is lowered but doesn't have an aggressive suspension set-up.

Stock with 80K miles, driven all over Michigan with its terrible roads. I am on stock suspension though (well, MR bilsteins but close enough).

On my IX, I had the oem and the SE lips. Although I only changed to the SE lip for looks, my oem lip was still in good condition.

On my 5th Do-Luck carbon lip on my VIII.

I'm quite lowered agressively on the front. And work in downtown ATL. Streets are not to bad. I just can't ever get the speed bumps and steep incline right. I too would like to here if the IX lip and or bumper holds better then VIII's

I'm in need of a lip for VIII in Atlanta.
Cant really notice the missing lip on my tarmac black though...

I've had 2 SE lips and they seem lower than other kinds like the Ralliart lip. So I threw on a ralliart replica and will see how that goes..

The Do-Luck lips for the VIII's are about as low as the SE for the IX's but the VIII's is equally low..

Well in about 6 months of owning the car, im on my third. Good old PA roads (one was a rut in the dirt road I live on and the other was a snow pile someone decided to leave in the middle of the road).

im about to order my second vr style lip, messed up the first one going into an oreily's been about 6 months

Can't push half a foot of snow at 40 miles an hour.....don't do that p
