throttle body high idle?
Hey guys so I replaced my throttle body gasket not to long ago and have had a check engine light for having to high of an idle I have not been able to fix this idle so I took my iac out to check and clean it . While putin it back In I snapped one of the bolts holding it in. So my question is were can I get a new throttle body and or how can I fix the broken bolt? Do I really need it? The sensor is really snug and doesn't seem to be leaking. Sill didn't fix my idle and I don't know hat to do next

Is the broken bolt still in the intake manifold? If so you will first need to back that one out. (tools for that at home depot or lowes) then go to mitsu or and bolt and nut shop with one of the other 3 bolts and tell them you need a new one of those..
As far as the high idle goes... I'm assuming you did a boost leak check... Is it tuned? Need more info

Ok well do the same... Back out the bolt. Retap the hole if you have a retap kit. And get a new bolt. Once that's done do a boost leak test. It's very cheap and easy. Look at the "how to" section. A leak can come up anywhere especially if you messed around with the throttle body. Lots of vac/ boost lines back there... Any time I think I have one and I check I find one.

heave you tried this?
Raikiri pretty much said it all.
.5) First disconnect the battery.
1) I took my front strut bar off so you have a bit more room.
2) Then unplug the throttle position sensor.
3) Unbolt the 4 bolts on the throttle body.
3.5) Take the stock gasket out because you will reuse this with the new one.
4) Slide the hose clamps down the 2 coolant hoses on the throttle body.
5) Next, Take a vise grip to squeeze one hose and lock it when you pull it off, then take a pliers and wiggle the other one off while holding it squeezed as well so no coolant comes out.
6) Set the old TB aside and set the new TB in its place.
7) Connect the coolant hoses and slide the hose clamps in place.
8)Reuse the stock gasket and use the 4 bolts to bolt the new TB in place.
9) Plug in the TPS.
10) Let the car idle for like 15min
11. You should be good to go!
