That's the Ebay vendor that sold me the bad one and refused a refund or a replacement. Don't buy from him.

It does look like there are at least two different font types for this emblem. One is thin and one is thick. As far as I can tell by looking at photos of a UK FQ-360, my cheap fading Ebay ($29) one seems to be a very close match (the thick one). Again, it looked great for a while.

I've been looking for an oem uk badge for a while now, seems like any site I find is either selling a fake or out of stock. I've tried the 'thin aluminum' ones from ebay.. they suck. The Evolution part is fine but the X is totally horrid. The piece is so thin and doesn't sit flush against the car so when you are drying your car you need to be extra special careful to avoid bending it or pulling it off. The carbon fiber ones I've seen are just as bad, the sort of resin that they put over the carbon yellows and bubbles badly. Sadly those ones from rebelperformance look to be the best ones, nice thick letters at least from some of their pictures.

I've had mine from Rebel performance for about a year now. Still looks good as new. Washing the car is a bit of a hassle but the adhesive on the lettering is solid.

^ got mine from the same seller

mine has some slight "water-stains" on it after my car was detailed, but unless you are within 12 inches of it you can't tell at all.

make sure you get the thick ABS one, not the crappy thin little metal one

https://i.imgur.com/aQky1.jpg are the measurements i used when i installed mine

I wonder if you could sand down and respray the abs one if there is a need. Anyone with a bad one done that yet by chance?

absolutely, but for $30 it's almost not worth it, i'd rather just buy a new one. if you have a friend who could spray it with chrome automotive paint or something like that a clear-coat it, then it'd be worth it

Yeah I suppose that is true just buying the chrome rattlecan and clear would set you back nearly 20 bucks heh.

had mine for a little over2 years now I believe. They were oxidizing last fall but the detailler I go to polished them back up to good-as-new condition. They're oxidizing again now, I'll have them repeat the process.

Since I could't find a real UK badge, I decided to try out the "ABS Plastic" one from ebay. FAR better than the thin aluminum ones I had gotten in the past. Hopefully it lasts as long as the thin ones I used to have. Those lasted pretty well as far as color, but were way too delicate.
