Im sorry to say that i took mine in to the dealer to see what was making my car jolt when i turned and i did take everything off and made it stock i found out that i need a new transmission the spider gears inside are broke dont know why but they said that it could take awhile for them to get the new tranny in and done. I just hope this is covered under warranty they said it cost around 2500 for a new tranny YIKES

I don't think it helps. Buschur and Shiv say leave it in. I trust them more then the retards on this board saying you need it.

not that it will make a difference with the tranny, but it improves pedal feel, and lets you feel the catch point on take- up a little better.

iT does help the feel of the pedal. Thats it. The tranny has the center differential inside, this diff has spider gears. The front diff is in the transfer case. I think they made a mistake in diagnosis. Not all of us are retards, some are pretty knowledgable and some are "KINGS" of measuring equipments.

What do you mean by your car jolt?? I think mine does the same too. it almost feels like the clutch all of a sudden catches. And one time as I was driving straight I herd a clunk. I sure as hell don't beat the crap out of the car for real! I launch at 2000rpm and now possibly busted spider gears?? **** that! Who else has this problem??

Hey dude keep us posted on this. I am picking up an E8 when I come home from Iraq and I would like to know if I should expect some tranny trouble.
