*EDIT* I found out who tuned it.
So I'm about to pick up my first evo hopefully tomorrow if not thats ok. It is a 2005 Evo VIII with 70,000 miles paying 17k. Its tarmac black, and one of the best attention getters no engine mods, some minor mods like bigger turbo, FMIC/piping blow off valve, ect, and tuned, *Road Racing*. I will be having a Mitsubishi dealership doing an inspection or maybe just a mechanic so I can feel more at ease with the purchase, knowing Im not buying a piece of ****. Im new to evos but definitely not to cars just recently had a 94 h2b swapped integra that was stolen from me hence the reason Im buying the evo. If you guys maybe have some advice Id love to hear it, always room for me to learn.

try and learn as much as you can about the car before you purchase. where it was tuned service records who did the work etc. if possible see i you can talk to the previous owner

 

Ok I know the carfax is clean, Ill have the service records tomorrow and will find out tonight who did the tuning. I drove it today, and from my knowledge it was drove great and ran great, had no leaks, didnt overheat, and boosted fine. Wasnt smoking ect ect. I check radiator and oil fluids, both had been "changed recently" and looked clean. Now Im just waiting to have it actually inspected professionally as I dont have the proper equipment.
