To Paint, Wrap or Spray Headliner?

I've read a couple threads

Some say that Painting if FTW while others say it will flake and smell, so I dont know

I've also read on here that Washing will clean it right up though It will probably get dirty again and I will have to wash again.

Wrapping in anything is a little to out there for me. I know it might look nice now, but as time wears on it will look old and out of style (i.e. altezza lights, neaon underbody color, 747 wing on trunk) sometimes nothing beats stock or stock looking . Suede is nice but I hate that uneven look if you run your hand across it

what are suggestions or pics for something clean and durable

Please include
cost
ease of completion
durability
pics if possible

Thanks

Wrap it with some **** j/k

I have suede in my honda for the headliner. It wasn expensive as I did it myself with the spray on glue stuff u can get at advance. I think I paid like 60 bucks for the material which was enough for the headliner and the cloth parts of my door panels. And ur right about the unevenness of it looking funny I just take my hand or a brush and smooth it all one direction before shows. Cleaning it is simple if it gets dirty I just use a damp cloth and wipe it if there's dirt or anything.

If u really wanted to be unique u could look into getting some carbon fiber matte and doing it in that or maybe the bride material? Just a few suggestions that might look good.

Ya I would be leaning more towards cleaning it (depending on how well it will clean) or spray

Same material, but black. Around here it's about $120 to have it done.

Depends on the look you are going for really. If you want to be different and unique wrap it. Coming from the Honda world Ive seen everything from Bride fabric, Coach, louis vuitton, ect. I will try to get some pics. But if you want low key and simple just spray it and let it air out good so you dont have that smell in the car. Theres a special spray can for it cant remember the name.

I don't have any pics. I had a 1G GSX that had a dirty, sagging headliner. I had to remove the liner and pull the old fabric off. The "seat cover" shop put new foam and liner on it and I reinstalled it. The best part was, in the 5 years after I had it done, nobody ever noticed that it was black and I didn't have to worry about it getting dirty.

Go to walmart and get that fleece material in black and some spray adhesive. The fleece material is stretchy and will cover the head liner very easily. My pick up truck has a mossy oak fleece blanket that i used to recover the oem head liners looks super sick.
