Idle Problem

To start off my check engine light came on for front 02 sensor, car didn't like to idle, would sit around 800 then randomly drop to 300 for a second and come back up to 800, drops down about every 10sec or so.

So i changed 02 sensor with new factory 02 sensor and cleared the light, went out for a test drive and now the idle is still doing the same thing.

Everyone so far has lead me to believe its a vacuum or boost problem but can't seem to find the problem anywhere..

Car drives perfect, its only at idle

all suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Id check all vacuum line, egr lines like to come off. Disconect the battery for 15min and start up and let idle for 10min and dont touch the gas. Also maby check the IAC out see if its clogged up or not working.

All bolt ons, but I doubt its anything performance wise. It just started happening once sensor went out

Check your Idle air control valve. It's in your throttlebody and it's 400 bucks to replace.

Check the IAC/ISC, also get it from either Amazon or Chrysler for cheaper.

its a little roundish black piece on the throttle body held on by three screws in a triangle form. they go bad because theyre plastic internals and strip out i believe. mine went bad too and had to replace it. thankfully i had a spare on my old throttle body. you might wanna check the f/s section for a low mileage used one

Is that just a straight swap or is that something that me and the OP would have to take to a shop?

Mine varies.. Have you noticed that it does it after you've been driving for a little and then come to a stop..?

Mine does this a bit more so when it is colder.

I figured it was due to still being in the "build" period with no tune as of yet.
