I will facking worry about what you post, though...and your lack of proper punctuation / capitalization.
Have a nice day, and welcome to 2 years ago.
I don't need to curse, nor answer to you for that matter. I'm sure you're an intelligent person...hmmm.....really doubtful! Find a hobby. Last time I checked @ was not = to a......sorry tough guy......but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh
They can't void it unless they prove that it caused the failure, as previously posted above. If it had been an OEM clutch replacement, then they would be further investigating it, but they stopped as soon as they saw the aftermarket clutch because it's an "unknown" in the equation here. It's up to the owner to invoke his/her rights with aftermarket parts replacements when it comes to warranty claims, no dealership is going to voluntarily say, "Well let us look into this a bit further and spend some more money on what we already believe to be the problem."
BTW, what exactly happened to your gearbox and transfer case to need replacements?
MMNA will not void your warranty due to an aftermarket clutch IF its "LKQ" or like kind and quality. So while getting the warranty voided due to having a twin disc sucks, its not surprising.
You may not have raced the car but you put performance parts on the car and increased horsepower and put a stronger clutch in the car. Its a well known fact that mistu made the evo clutches wear out quickly because its the cheapest part in the drivetrain to fix. Its much better for your clutch to go then lets say a tranny or transfer case. So now with a twin disk in your car its not going to give like the oe clutch does wich then trasfers that stress to the drivetrain. You should have just said f#ck mitsu and got a tre or shep rebuild or new stage whatever parts from them. It probaly wouldve been cheaper and last longer than your mitsu rebuild. Like evryone says "you gotta pay to play".
No problem. And if you cannot post without bypassing the word filter, don't. Many people read our forums from work and your post is not helping keep our forums work safe. Thanks.
Speedlimit...
the fact is the car is made to run with their parts... end of story....
my cars modded and i blew my tranny..... it lasted me 30k with 400+ whp
so im sure if it was stock it would have lasted me 100k....

Listen up. For anyone who EVER takes their car into the dealership for anything that is wrong, please make sure you have ALL aftermarket parts REMOVED from your car. Everything except gauges or anything electric is fine.
I have been fighting my dealership and Mitsubishi Corp (located in S. Cali) For about 8 months now. I have had to shell out over $5,000 worth of work done to my car because they have refused to cover anything under warranty. My car has always been stock when I bring it into dealership, I remove everything except gauges.
I have had my car in for 2 clutch changes, new syncros, pads +shoes resufcaed rotors, and a new 3-4th arm in the tranny. Only once has the clutch and flywheel been covered and this is because it went out only 300 miles after driving the car (my car was a demo driven by the General Manager) And we fought them and said theres no way it can go out we just bought it, your GM ruined the car.. So they covered it.
10,000 miles later, i went in because the clutch went out, and I blamed it on my transmission because it was totally F'd making it very very hard to drive. They didn't cover it because they said they saw Bluing and crack on flywheel so they said i was abusing my car. However they did give me a discount on the brakes and a 10% discount on the clutch "because of their good faith" LMFAO which made them look even more guilty. So after shelling out all that money.
I have filed arbitration papers against the dealship and mitsubishi Corp. There are aribitration papers in your glove box if you ever wish to take them to court. My dad is a lawyer so I don't have to pay for lawyers fee's, but we are suing for all over our money back and for the cost of the car. Because we feel that we were sold a ****ty lemon with over 1,000 miles put on it in the first place. And that the dealership had not full inspected the car when they sold it to us. So our arbitration date is waiting to be set, and I tell you now this is will one hell of a battle.
I thought about getting a petition on evoM for everyone who has had similiar work done to their cars and them voiding warranties // not owning up to the warranty work that should be done to the car in the first place because of bull**** reasons like abusing and racing, nothing of which they can prove. I think its funny, how a warranty rep that live in S. California can talk to the mechanic over the phone at the dealership and say "What does the flywheel look like?" "oh ok.. not covered, they obviously raced" wihtout even being there to see it.
You can run your car at HIGH rpms, on the freeway, lets say a trip from las vegas to california, and have bluin because that **** get ****ing toasted and hot the entire time, especially in summer. and they would call that racing? no proof.

It all depends on the dealership and where you are. The Mitsu dealer here treats their customers (at least from my experience) like they would at a Lexus dealer. As soon as I arrive, they offer me tea and they don't care if I laze around at waiting room, or wander around their showroom, or even walk around in their service area (I know coupla mechanics there). They put on my buschur tbe with test pipe along with the 02 housing for no charge. I broke a clip off the intake box while trying to check my turbo blades, I asked them how much for the box and without even saying anything they covered it under waranty.
As for Ralliart parts, most of their 'sports' line-up, including interior parts and minor exterior parts, they come with their own warranty (independant to Mitsu's). However, suspension, ECU and other performance parts do not come with one.
If my tranny broke and I know for sure its due to faulty production, I will get it covered under warranty. However, if it is due to my abusive driving or stress from mods (too much torque), it will come out of my own pocket no question.
