I miss my EVO, it is at a body shop, I got hit in a parking lot. Luckily for me the person that hit me left a note on my car. But if the note was not left, I had a witness that saw it all happen and had everything ready for me if I needed the info. It was a Silverado that hit my rear driver side on the bumper. Body shop hooking me up with a EVO IX bumper!!!!

 

lol sounds like u made out... just like when the neighbors were doing construction and the construction team backed into a bball poll that fell on my car...got hood replaced , wind up gettin the cf hood for free because of a separate issue and selling the original one i got in firs tplace.. and got a very very very large chunk of change in my pocket!!..

so hey if u got ins...hit me!!.. jk but good thing you had people lookin out for you and the person taht hit you was good in leaving a note

Glad you got it all resolved, most hit and runs don't end up as well as this one.

 

I was thinking of that too. Either way I would have know who did it because the witness gave me so many distinguishing features of the truck. And the timing it would have only been a certain unit in the Army. I am in the Army BTW.

 

So appearently OEM IX brear bumpers do not have the rear diffuser.... =-( Found that out today when bumper arrived at the body shop. Body shop is going to hook me up though and get me a VIII bumper and return the IX bumper. That sucks more days without my ride.

IX bumper would have cost me 60 bucks out of pocket for the same looking VIII bumper.

If I had seen this yesterday I would have let u know the usdm ix bumper is like that. I know cuz I didn want to spend 900 on a jdm one when the dealer said they could get one for 400 bucks when they emailed the picture so I could be sure I was disappointed

 

I backed into a buddys pickup at work a few months back. I felt like **** but accidents do happen. He understood, and I paid out of pocket to fix it, it was like 2100. Its just the way of the world.
