well my car got hit the other day, brought it to a body shop an they said they can put a Xi front bumper on my VIII, i was wonder if it just bolts up or what, any imput?

oh a bit off topic, did your brother get pulled over in his evo by DEC yesterday at mobil across from keeler on rt7? if so, what happened?

 

hahahaha nah that was his roommate, he was taking it to work and the cop just give him a bull**** ticket for tailgating or something along those line, im not happy tho, i have my evo away for the winter an took it out for one day cuz i tinted the tail lights an i was bring them to my buddy to buff em an i stopped at walmart in EG to get something for him to do the buffing with an i come out an my car got hit on the front an down the drive side, i think it was a plow tho but yeah i got some ****ty luck

 

yeah its a direct bolt on.

These are the part numbers for all the body pieces and mesh pieces you will need. All other parts are swappable from the VIII bumper to the best of my knowledge. I hear some people are swapping the lower meshes from the VIII with modification, but if you don't want to bother, then the part numbers are listed. Also, the upper center mesh is almost mandatory as it contains a bracket for the bumper to mount up to the bumper reinforcement, so I wouldn't forego that one. If something changes with the body shop, I'll update this post.

All these pieces at list cost will run you around $1500.00, but if you can get the body shop pricing or a discount from some of our Mitsubishi Dealership vendors then it should run you around $1175.00 or so. That's it.
