you don't necessarily need to respray them. a wet sand with fine sandpaper and relaquer will do a great job also if got in time

A while back I was rotating tires and as part of the process I started cleaning and polishing calipers. Then I looked over at my subie with unpainted aluminum calipers and I thought - why am I doing this? The brakes live in the fender wells, the filthiest place on the planet and then there is brake dust. Since then it has been - I don't care what the calipers look like, paint or not, only how they work.

So this, I suggest, is the proper solution for calipers that peel if you look at them. Give it up, its not worth it.

Alot of us like to keep our car looking good
And clean. Not looking like s***. I would powder coat my
Calipers if they ever fade or peel.

im on the same page as you. as long as they work fine, im satisfied. Others like their calipers show car clean tho.

Wouldnt the powder coat also change color after a while?
