Upgrading time....

Well, my baby is starting to get upgrades, and the only thing im stuck on is the turbo. I cant decide between the fp black (suggested in the other thread), or, the ams 35r kit.

The 35r spools pretty quick and the power...dear god, the power! I cant seem to chose, any advise?

well, for the most part, the motor is stock. will be purchasing the gsc cams, and, debating on which exhaust would help with performance.

have the walbro fuel pump on its way, as well.

your not even close to the point where you have the mods to support a bigger turbo yet.
if your staying on stock motor, go 35r, the torque of the fp black will kill the block. but dont think you can throw a 35r on a stock block and make big power, its not gonna happen

Start here buddy, until u get everything done on this list and max out your stock turbo, there is no reason to upgrade it. There are people on here making over 400 whp on stock 8 turbos, how much are u looking to get?

get a IX turbo, some s1 cams and then put some 1000cc injectors in it with a 255 on e85 and go have fun. a 35r and a black are overkill for your situation (ie you dont even have a 255 pump on yet)

not even worth the time to do that set-up imo

its better to plan out what you wanna do. if you want the ams 35r, buy all the supporting mods, then buy the turbo kit. then install it all.... its cheaper this way then just throwing parts on the car little by little just looking for that next little bit of power
