93 oct it will do 26psi safely if you have a good FMIC.

Your tuner will tune your car to where he feels it to be safe, that is what is most important. Not an extra 10whp.

I don't recall if it was said or not, but boosting more then 21 you need to do a head stud replacement! Don't want those studs pulling out under boost! Rebuilds SUCK

21psi seems a little weak for upgraded head studs? I've heard mixed feelings about it, with some people saying you don't need it until 26-29psi.

No headstuds needed at 21 psi. Do some reading/research before posting nonsense. It's no wonder people are so confused and wind up spending money on parts they don't need. OP, listen to BLKCarbonEVO and have your car tuned for safe, reliable boost.

You do not need head studs. That is a complete waste of money. I ran the stock head studs at 34psi on the stock turbo. Boost doesn't mean ****!!!

Cylinder Pressure and knock will raise the head, not boost. Cylinder pressure is a direct reflection of timing, increased timing = increased cylinder pressure. A good understading of cylinder pressure if you don't know what that is, well just keep tq below 350-375. Knock will also raise the head, if you are tuned properally you will not have knock therefore no need for headstuds. Even if you start to knock the computer will pull timing like it is suppose, eliminating the knock and decreasing cylinder pressure.

Long story short, if you have money and don't know what to do with it then ya, go ahead and get head studs. Otherwise, don't waste your money right now.

While we are on this topic, I'll also say that upgraded rod bolts are a crock of **** also. The only way to snap a stock rod bolt is to over rev, stretching the rod bolts. I have never seen a rod bolt let go due to power/tq, it has always been high rpm over rev.

Off my soap box - Mikey out

What you have right now is pretty good. I would grab some GSC S2s and an ETS 3.5 or 4" FMIC.

No it will be fine. don't launch the car from stop light to stop light and don't run more then 30psi on the stock turbo and it will last forever.

What did I say? S2s. S2s spool the same as S1s but make about 15whp more. I don't believe in S1s, waste of money if you ask me.

Almost everyone with a stock turbo has the S2s. Just look through the stock turbo dyno thread that I made 2 years ago and check out all the 400+whp stock turbo cars with S2s.

Don't waste your money on a turbo xs intercooler. I am surprised Mikey hasn't said anything about that. Buy the right part once. Hint: the best is in Mikey's Sig...thus why he runs it.
