Hello Guys ...

I am not asking how to repair the CF Wing ... I found the "How To ..." and will be following it. An area on the wing, the clearcoat has pealed and now the bare CF is showing. What I want to know is if I should peal off the clear coat with my fingers or if I should just start sanding it down like the "How To ..." thread mentions.

 

I probably wouldn't sand the CF if it is bare.

 

+1. I'd put a gel coat on, sand it then clear it.
