Arrow evo 9 block with 8 head

I recently bought a evo 9 block with a spun rod bearing bc I got a hell of a deal on it. I plan on building it with more than likely a stroker kit. But will I have to track down a evo 9 head or will a 8 head work on it as well? If I were to get a evo 9 head are the sensors the same? Would I have to hardwire a mivec wire?

Thanks

They are almost identical, however you are going to have to block off the Mivec oil supply from the block and do something with the oil pressure sensor (I think there's an adapter to place it in the stock Evo 8 position, but not sure). If nothing else, you could hook it up to the oil filter housing.

Good luck.

And if I were to buy a 9 head do you know what I'd have to do?
