I went to Little Tokyo today and took this picture of the next evo in a magazine. I'm sorry if the same related subjet have been posted before.

 

i've seen this in some jap magazine too...i don't sweat the looks of it...but 330hp sound sweet

 

What is the possiblitys of this actually being the next evo, just curious if you know

AHH HELLL NO! That is but ugly! Damn man why do they have to mess it up man! That will not sell in America man! There is no way ladies will even look at you with that mess. And about the 330 we can get that power and more from the aftermarket, so its just going to be more expensive to buy and completely ugly.

Come on serously Our Evo's look very respectable stock and then w/ an Accolade or C-West they look awesome and mean (Gialla also for some, but I prefer the other two).

Yea I know looks are subjective, but serously what girl is going to look at you in that weird ***, Pontiac Sunfire look-alike thing!
Not many girls know about horsepower and AWD so don't expected to go".....well at least it has 330hp..." jeje

Serously...If mitsu comes out with this, and I would go for the Mustang Cobra, or STI if I was in the market for a car.
Well that just my crazy rant!

It's kind of like what may happen with the Ford Focus RS. It's all wheel drive and has like 300hp! But it looks exactly like a Focus and It is definately not a car that radiates masculinity. But it will probably be a very impressive performer!

But on that note we can't forget about that Volkswagen R32 All wheel drive, 270hp, V6 Golf. Still hasn't come to the US.

Looks nice, i like it. I'm more interested in what seems to be a new engine for the evo. If you guys read it, it says MIVEC. MIVEC + TURBO = CHING CHING

Stinky is correct, it looks fine to me (especially the front emblem area being blacked out instead of body color). Especially if the MIVEC is part of the deal. Only thing is, they could be talking about the EVO AND the Ralli-Art (we know that the Ralli-Art is a 2.4 MIVEC).

sooo, some of you guys buy cars, based on how muc ***** it will get you...?

 

I highly dought that this will be the next evo, just becuase 1st off its not much of change (if u look down the lines, they changed actually have evloved to more difference of looks compared 2 to this and the evo) 2nd, it looks like a photochop, and 3rd it just dosn't feel right.

If I was to say which one (this 1 or the one from the UK based site) I would certainly say the one posted in the UK is more "offical" (even though I don't think any of them is close to what it will look like)

I say this becuase 1st off it's based off the new WRC Car, 2nd it appears to be an artists sketch, where as the one posted here appers to be an actual vechile, which makes no sense to make a prototype so soon.

The pix was that of the upcoming Evo 9? I have to say, it really resembles the new Lancer that Mitsu launched this year. But 330 hp? Direct challenge for the M3. The headlights are taken from the new lancer and the bonnet from Evo 8. Maybe it's a conversion project or a demo car. Dunno about that. Looks wise, pretty ok. But so far the Evo 8 still gets my vote compared to the 9 (if at all).

i kinda like it....since they kept alot of the same things from the evo8, they really only changed the front, barely. would this be an 07' model if it came to the US?
