Does Synapse still modify the older model BOVs if you send it in?

Does Synapse still modify the older model BOVs if you send it in?
Just wondering if Sypnapse still allows you to send them your older model Synapse BOV and they modify it to eliminate Port C (or whatever they do..)? Has anyone sent theirs in? I heard this fixes the fluttering at low boost.
