I deleted the EGR vacuum lines by looping the 2 vac lines on the top of the throttle body back into each other and presto fixed yeah!

Must have been the egr solenoid or associated vac lines leaking lol.

did you try activating the SAS mode in ECUflash and then adjusting your biss screw to get your idle to where you want it? Is that all of your mods in your sig?

I had that prob for a while! Did boost leak tests, all sorts of cleaning, even got some dyno tuning done. Couldn't figure it out. Finally I gave up, got all new piping and went to speed density! Never looked back. And I got a little more power out of it too...

A lot of owners on here seem to have this issue... If you can't figure it out I suggest you look into SD

Someone told me to try to go back to the old rubber intake boot. Maybe give that a try, and see if the idle issue is still there...

Make sure the screw did not pop out of your throttle body. I don't know if it's an issue on evos but my brother has a 3000gt vr4 and the screw is actually plastic and it popped out causing a bad idle.

Maybe it's because you have chickens for vacuums leaks...sorry I have nothing to contribute.

I'm going through something similar but it would happen intermittently, but mostly during clutching in from 1st to Neutral at a Stop. Idle would dip below 500 then back up. Operating the AC would make my idle drop worse--and really stall the car at a stop. I've done everything you've done with the addition of cleaning my PCV valve and making sure it is operational (shaking it and hearing the vlave go up and down). Have you cleaned your PCV valve yet? Also, check that the lines to the EGR are all connected.

I ended up cleaning my IAC and reinstalling it and everything went fine for a day until the IAC crapped out again..not sure why. I have another IAC I need to reinstall and hopefully my problems go away. And YES, actuate SAS (turn it off) before messing with the BISS. Get the idle right, then actuate it back on.

This will most likely help your issue and you need to do since you replaced the iac. Do you have a tactrix cable and evoscan?

Once you activate the actuator your idle will most likely be low you want to set it to 850rpm. Then will have to reset the battery.
