Strange noise after new clutch SOLVED!!

Picked up my car from the place that did my clutch, on the way home i stalled because i was not use to it yet (was a jerky stall). Now after the stall my car makes a knocking noise on or off the gas. So far it starts making the noise after it gets warmed up and between 10-40 mph. Also makes it when i give it a little bit of gas. if i give it more then maybe 1/4 it goes away. It shifts smooth, im hoping the jerky stall dident damage the tranny. Im thinking maybe a motor mount or something with the axle. I havent really looked into it due to it raining and work/school. Also iv had it back for a day so as the days go ill maybe it will change.

One of the videos i say it comes on when i give it a little of gas but that is now false, also comes on when im not on the gas. Though it gets a little louder when i give it some gas.
*edit* I have a xtss with a stock engine 6 speed.

Does it do the knocking sound with the clutch depressed? Any shifting issues?

If it goes away with the clutch depressed it could be a throw out bearing issue. Thats a long shot though. I would bet that something got left loose. Engine mount etc..

I would take a good hard look at everything to elminate the obvious or better yet take it back to the shop that performed the work and have them go over their work.

edit: after listening to that first clip thats def not normal. The first place I would check are the drive shaft mounts and also the bolts where they connect to the u-joints. Make sure the axels are seated and also all three motor mounts that are taken loose.

Can you feel any vibrations in the car??

Could be a wheel bearing.

The noise is their if i depress the clutch or in neutral, plus it shifts smooth, so i dont think i could be tranny hardware related (i hope). Now i can feel some vibrations in the when i turn and in the brake pedal. The strange thing is if i give it some gas it get a little louder. The soft spot is (i am basing this off the stock MR boost gauge since it always becomes louder when the needle is around that number) when the needle of the boost gauge is at vac (30). I forgot the unit but its 30 vac. I want to lift the car and see the drivetrain, and im no expert in this.

+1 could very well be the bolts holding the u joint for the driveshaft loosened themselves. jack it up and see what you find

i just googled symptoms of a bad TOB and i dosent seem to match what i have. From what i gathered it should make noise when i depress the clutch and i would feel vibrations in the clutch pedal which i dont. Also people said it sounds like metal on metal which in my case it really dosent. I have off Saturday so im going to try to jack my car up (is the one that comes with the car good enough?) and see if i can find the problem.

doesn't sound like a TOB, to me it sounds like something is loose, If it goes away when the clutch is dpressed then mabye it could be a loose flywheel bolt?

Dosent go away when it's depressed, the only real confusing part is when i give it some gas it gets louder. Now i dont understand why it would do this if it is driveline related.

DO NOT Get underneath your car using the factory jack. If I were you I would go directly back to the shop that did the work. If thats not an option try and find a local member that can help you out.

Found what it was, i was looking in all the wrong places, turned out to be that some of my lug nuts were loose and the wheel was playing around. One fell off so i need a extra lug haha. So i just used the factory lug thing and tightened it as hard as i could, noise stopped after that. Going tomorrow to my friends shop to put the wheels back on since i think they might of moved out a little, also to install my rear strut bar

Whatever it is, if it wasn't making noise before you took it to the shop take it back to them its their responsibility to fix it.

Edit: well next time. lol if they can't remember to tighten your lug nuts i wouldn't trust them with anything

I am pretty damn sure you ruined your wheel.

Take off your wheel that was wobbling, and check the mounting holes for the lug nuts. I'm willing to bet my *** you rounded out the holes.

Also jack your front end up and make sure you did not destroy the wheel bearing.

Good luck.
