The older ones i prefer they are alot more aggressive looking and lighter, I have a E 5 n its great people up to this day still are amazed by it, if i where to move to another one it will be a E6 Tmak or E8 mr with the E9 back bumper.

The old cars can move pretty quick......

Older evos with out AYC are the best.. I had a evo 3 .. sold it coz wanna replicate the evo IX i had in US n bought a JDM Evo 7 GSR . & did a face lift. man the dif on the 7 is crap coz of AYC. i wish i never sold the evo3.. i was told the AYC difs can handel up to ab 300whp n i cant even try the 2 step launch coz boosting 12psi at launch will distroy my dif

Evo 4s are going for less than 10k now easily, even 1s 2s and 3s go for more than that. And so many 4s have been imported there's almost one on every street.

mmm cant remember exactly... havent driven the car for a while (months).. but my 2 step is somewhere between 4500 and 4800 or around abouts.. even tried at 5200 for a blast... I can tell you this much, I have only replaced my AYC diff once with an 8 one.. The 5 Diffs are still a little problematic (like the 4's but not as bad) I was playing drift the round-a-bout for a while and next morning heard a wine!! boo ya ...... goooone!! and this was on a basically stock engine... My 8 diff has been sweet!!

Im only just looking at changing to LSD diff setup, not because im worried about breaking my existing one but mainly to shed some kgs and get the car to hook better.

As for gearbox's, front diff's and TC's?? well lets just say "a sh*t load!!!"

That's awesome! I love the Targa Newfoundland. At MOD a few years back I got to chat with ACP aboot it, too. (yes, I am a Canuck)

I'll be looking out for you whenever the coverage airs on Speed, then! Good luck!
