Price for a block?

hey was up everyone! i had wanted to know and get everyone's opinion on this. if someone was selling a block that had 100,000 miles on it, how much would you buy it for?

im not selling a block, im trying to buy one. my friend is going to sell his, but idk how much i should offer him bc the block have 100k on it and he said that he doesnt know how long it will last.

whats included?? i say 700 if its complete just due to milage I sold my oem shortblock for 1200 just to give you a example and it had 54k miles on it.

you say $700 huh. i was thinking about the samething bc he said that our tuner said that he could get 1000-1500 for it and i was like thats kinda high for block that have 100k on it and then my friend was like idk how long it will last.

yea as stated above does it included block pistons gaskets crank bearings etc or is a a bare block that includes no internals??

how would you know if your piston rings are going bad or leaking bro, bc i saw oil coming from my exhaust manifold?

a leak down test if the engine is still complete ex. block and head are connected.

google.com will tell you what/how to do it.
-air compressor
-leak down tester.

as he said above thats how you would test the block to make sure of those things leakdown and compression test but I hope your buying this block to build a motor not stay OEM

welcome to the world of the evo. As they say you Have to Pay to Play. The evo becomes a better car once its built and not to mention will allow you to do alot more either way if your going to buy a motor build it
