Oil leak cant find it!!

Ok today noticed small amount of oil on the garage floor. Swiped it up... fairly recent, put down some cardboard after I came home...checked it there was about 4 drops worth on the cardboard. Let her sit for a while noticed 2 (breast like drops) awaiting to fall off the oil pan. Then noticed the whole passenger side axle was ridden with oil residue, grim grit as opposed to driver side was clean. Checked engine bay, valve cover, intake manifold, oil cap, lines etc very clean.
Any thoughts?
WTF is next..past 2 months, hit and run, car got egged, Dunlop Tires belt showing and got new tires, oil leak....

Can you elaborate on "breast sized drops" description? Some of us may not have enough experience to know what "breast sized drops" should look like.

I didn't jack it up, but i got my @$$ under there and it was directly under the oil pan.. started the car to normal temps, shut it down, waited, waited, waited 10 min later couldn't find the same drops from the oil pan. No cracks visible with a Magnum flashlight anyway. So bummed out.......Hope CBRD responds so I can fix this and upgrade to the "B". Damn cars always something.

you know like when a sink faucet is about to drip but doesn't have enough mass to do so.

If you cant find the highest spot where theres oil, the use brake clean and clean it all off so its spotless. Then drive it and lay under and examine....maybe use a extension mirror or something similar. Some leaks can be damn tricky to locate! Best of luck man

If you still havent found the leak this is what I would do. Clean evertyhing off under the car as best as you can. Drive the car around for a day or so and reinspect for any fresh leaks. Check the highest point of the leak and you snould find your source. If that doesnt work you can also clean it all up and spray trace powder which will show you clearly where your leak is coming from.

typically what we do!

you have to isolate the source of the leak!

the oil pan was never off your car (by us anyway) so that wouldnt be an issue....

let me know what you spot (literally) dan,

Mine was doing the same thing. Little bit of oil on the passenger side. It turned out to be my valve cover gasket.

Do you have an oil pressure gauge? If so it could be the oil pressure sending unit.

Check out your feed and return lines for your oil cooler too. Mine is currently slightly leaking. Replaced the banjo washers but still leaks. Replacing the line soon. TommiM hit it though. Also if you have access to a lift you can clear really well, have someone start the car while you look around under it. That's how I sourced my leak.

Oil crush nut... got new tires today and told them to look for a leak, the found it at the drain plug. They said crush nut then dawned on me I haven't replaced it in like 4 oil changes. They gave it an oil change put a new crush nut on and said it stopped. I put down some new cardboard to test this tonight.
