Boost gauge for tuning?

Hey guys.

Today I was installing my fuel pump and boost gauge but the gauge itself isnt working. The actual wiring is getting power but it isn't powering my gauge.

With that being said, do you HAVE to have a gauge when getting tuned at ivey tune? Or can they but on a manual boost gauge?

Call Ivey but I thought that you only need the wideband?

I can't see that.

What, do they just pick it up off the ECU data without the wideband?

I thought I read in the beginners thread that you needed a wideband to tune your car.

I wideband is necessary to get the most accurate air/fuel readings. I'd look into a Zeitronix Wideband: A/F, Boost, EGT & warning box all in one.

We have our won wideband AF on the dyno, we also have our own way of reading boost.
