Need your help fellow EVO OWNERS!!!

I got rid of my 2005 Tarmac Black EVO about two years ago. Issues came up and I could not afford the car at the time. But times have changed and I'm itching to get back into one. Found two that I have been checking out.

06 MR looks descent good taste in mods. I do not mind a few basic bolt ons, but what the hell is that in the seventh photo. On the passenger side between the floor and bell housing of the trans... ?

The other option I found. Have not driven/been in a new X yet. I like the styling looks tastefully modded as well.

Anyone know either one of these cars? Input thoughts please and thank you.

Eric

*EDIT* tried fixing the links, here is the link to auto trader where I found the cars.

THE IX is the 8th car down, the X is the 12th car down

Links don't work.

If you liked an 8/9 then dont get a 10. It's a whole different monster. Great car, dont get me wrong but it's very different, IMO...

The item you question on the 9 looks like the defi gauge controller, just looks like its hanging by the wires since you can see the double sided tape. But I could be wrong its really hard to see what it is on my phone.

That one thing is definently a defi gauge controller. You could mount it under the cubby with some double sided tape if you decide to get it. That 9 looks really clean

I would go ix, but that seems pricy I am sure the aftermarket wheels are nice, but MR factory wheels are like $1000 a piece. For anything close to that price I would want the stock wheels.

What are your goals for the car? Are you going to track it? DD? Do you hard park?

Answer that first and go test drive both if you can't decide.

I would go with the IX, but thats just my preference. The BBS wheels not being there would be a deal breaker for me though! Mitsu got it right the first time. I will never change mine!

Just like he said...

What do you plan to do with the car?

It all depends on what you want to do...
