150k + FP Green?

Wus sup EvoM...

My evo is a 03gsr with 145k on it (DD)... I was wondering would it be safe to upgrade from the 9.8 to a FP Green with the current mileage...

Im trying to crack 400whp on pump (or close to)...

Mods would include...

Water Pump
Oil Pump
Kelford 272's
FP Green
Walbro FP
AEM EMS Series 1
ACT Street/Track Clutch
ARP HeadStuds

I have precision 1200cc but im assuming that would be to much for a street/pump gas tune, maybe 800cc?

Any feedback would be much appreciated thank you...

Check compression, if all good, go for it!

I have a buddy that has 113k on his evo 8. Original tcase, trans, motor, etc. He pushing 27psi on the stock 8 turbo still at 365whp. That thing still rips it with 113k on it!

Imo, you can never have too much injector. The car can be tuned. I would always rather have more injector for more room for higher boost if the time comes.

thanx for the advice man... John (Jestr Tuning) will be putting down the numbers. He's the one that got me to 300 with just a intk/exh/mbc so im pretty confident in his knowledge of tuning...

"you will be fine"

Just start saving for a build. By the time you blow you will have enough money to rebuild

Check compression and all that good stuff. If you just throw it on there without checking, theres a good chance you'll have the FP Boom!

On this note, my car has 146k and was making 561/508. Oil pump seized...snapping my timing belt leading to mass chaos lol long as you keep up on your maintenance I think you should be fine

I got 105k with an old green @ 28psi... 420whp... Don't sweat it. Just make sure you have a food tuner you trust!

Licp to???

As for injectors, John tuned me on 1200 for 93 with my bbk full.

If any questions, just ask him. He is one of the only tuners I trust.

Really? There's no way I would let one of his tunes touch my car again. I had bad experience with him back in 2007.

OP, like everyone else has suggested make sure the car is up to date on maintenance and the engine is healthy such as having good compression. PTE 1200 injectors will work just fine, I run them personally and have no issues. But I would also ditch the AEM EMS and just use the stock ECU.
