I can see the forward corners much better than I could with the Eclipse. There is nothing like the STi’s scoop on the Evo to block the view (assuming the STi’s scoop does block the view). I don’t really notice much of the hood while driving except the contours around the hood vent and they only stick up ¾” or so. The car is very intuitive as far as knowing where the corners are.

Best wishes,
f86sabre

CoooOOoL ... it would be nice to see the hood some so you can have a better view of what you're turning into and driving in front of... But hey you take what you can get...

I heard the 350zx has a horrible view from the sides even... like the side mirrors dont help at all..

Now I gotta bust that S-M-O-G stuff *Signal Mirror Over the shoulder GO * ~ yah new driver here lol ... license test next month >_<~ and I wouldnt feel comfortable in ANY car that has such horrible viewing.... especially if you're required to completely turn your head over to change lanes... right? I mean the mirrors should help and I hear on some cars thats just not possible

i still haven't really gotten used to the wing - i think it blocks traffic alot. which isn't too bad, unless you're as afraid of being followed by the police as i am i can tell when there are cars behind me, i just think they're cop cars a lot because the wing makes it hard to see details like lights and radar guns.

The car has an Is300 kinna setup so I would think because it IS a sedan the blind spots would be typical ONLY on the sides when you actually have to look over your shoulder and stuff ...
While this is a stupid question.......blind spots are caused by things blocking your vision......like the extra thick rear pilars you would find in a coupe (RX8, Celica) as well as the lower seating position......sedans usually have far superior visibility then your average sports car, but the only way to really find out would be to sit in an Evo which you could do at any Mitsubishi dealership.

i have severalt hings to complain about, one is that the a-pillar is too thick, but you can't help that. it chops your turning visibility in the canyons basically in half... what exacerbates this already hindered visability is the size of the rear view, i would say spending 600 bucks to get the slim ralliart mirrorsis justifyiable, only to me, but then again, this is only if you drive canyons a lot.

Headrests, rear wing block vision. also if you are like me and adjust outside mirrors pretty far out, sometimes i park crooked cause rear fender is @ an angle and i match up lines w/ rear fender. also the car is wider than it seems.

I special ordered it at Strouds' Auto Parts but you can buy them online (even Advance Auto's website has them) if you don't mind doing that. It is called a Wink multi-panel mirror. I even saw a 3 panel with a billit body at a 4-wheel drive shop.

Blind spots are an easy fix. Just adjust your side mirrors until you can't see your quarter panel anymore and voila.
