Anyone else cover the carbon fiber on their spoiler while it is parked? When I park at work (sits in the sun for 12 hours) I wrap my spoiler with a towel and secure it with bungies so the wind doesnt blow it off...

In a word, yes. The clear on the CF is fairly soft and smudging it down with a wrapped towel, over the dirt/dust/road grime is truly a bad idea, as is effectively baking the stuff on in a makeshift oven. Also, im not sure I understand your logic on "baking" the dirt in...
Wouldnt a car cover be doing the same thing? Im just isolating the cover to the spoiler...
A Car Cover breaths, does not contain heat, it cools the entire car. It also keeps the UV rays down quite a bit. California Car Cover makes a nice product, for different conditions, I paid about $200 for mine.




Just wax it every month or two and use spray detailer to keep it clean of environmental fallout, bird poop, etc.
