Turbo Housing Clamp

had this let go on me. the head on the bolt broke right off, the housing seperated and then bye turbo..it was a great turbo, had 70k on it and was great up to this failure. i would recommend if your turbo has some mileage on inspecting it. its a 40dollar part. now the HTA green is going in..

Damn that sucks sorry to hear. This almost happend to me too. I had to remove the turbo and o2 housing to have a bolt drilled out in the housing the machine shop removed the cover to get at it easier and put it back on but really didn't tighten the clamp up much. I put it all back together and luckly heard it rattling. I can't imagine the damage that happend to yours. Any pics?

i havent pulled the turbo yet but i imagine the housing is scored. really blows because i think the turbo would have outlasted my car if that part had not failed. i have 110k on the car now
