HELP!!!!! % Sputtering

Need some help guys. I changed my sparks plugs a few days ago. Not sure if that's the problem. Yesterday my car started sputtering in all gears as boost comes on and idles kind of funny. Checked the ic pipes they seem fine. Had one blow off before so I checked them. Was going to pull the new sparks plugs out later and check them. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Make sure u got the right plugs, evo 8 and 9 are different, and if u wound up not getting the factory spec ngks make sure u are on the right gap.

I would bet it is the plugs as well. Take them out, make sure they are the correct plugs. If they are correct then double check the gap. Let us know what you find/if this fixes the problem.

I think the sputter you are feeling is spark blowout as the car comes onto boost. Regapping the plugs should fix this.

Definitely the wrong plugs...BPR8ES plugs are for evo VIIIs and older DSMs only...Evo IXs use NGK ILFR7H plugs...no wonder its running like crap...

Take it to a tuning shop and have them check the plugs and regap.
