Just want somebody to point me in the right direction. My 04 EVO has an AC issue. The A/C will come on but once it cycles off the compressor will not cycle back on again. After the car is nice and hot and I manually switch off the AC it will not come back on until the car has not been running a couple of hours. The funny thing is that I can drive it on the highway for 3 hours strait and the ac will work just fine as long as I dont turn it off. Mostly happens on hot summer days. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Could it be low freon? not very sure
