267whp on Dynapack

Dunno what other people's experiences are with the Dynapack, I just got it dynoed this morning and here are the numbers:

My mods are:
HKS Downpipe
JIC 505ST catback (retain stock cat)
GReddy ProfecII EBC
SAFCII

We tried pushing the AFR's a little higher but we saw no hp gain, so we stuck with this.

I'm not particularly good at reading into dyno graphs, so maybe someone with some insight can make some comments about it... thanks!

hmmmm... look at your torque graph, your peaking at less than 4000rpm then its all downhill, there is defo something wrong there. The torque graph should look like the power graph

What the hell is up with that dynapack and the torque readings? On one it says your peak torque is 335 lb-ft (Way high for a 267 HP dynapack run...should be in the mid 200's) and on the other it says your torque is 1256 lb-ft!

That HP reading is a little low...but you didn't tell what boost you are running. Also, if they can't get the torque readings correct I wouldn't trust the HP readout either.

The 335 is flywheel torque. I'm not sure what wheeltorque is... I'd have to ask them how to decipher it.

I was running about 19-20psi boost to redline the entire way.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe I could have leaned it out some more starting around 6000rpms?

PS - Agile did one of the better jobs with an afc I have seen - thats a nice looking dyno sheet considering your mods

The little bump in the trq 4500 area - thats timing

Overall a great job and they know what they are doing for sure !

I'm in a similar area.

Do you care to share your SAFC-II settings, zstryder?

I got 270 lb-ft using the same method.... 4 lb-ft difference is all in how you look at the graphs I took it as torque peak looks to be at 3,500 RPM and then on the HP graph at 3,500 RPM you have 180 HP...plug that into the calculator and you get 270 lb-ft

Keith

PS: On a dynopack with less mods but great tuning I made 269 HP and 256 lb-ft of torque. My torque peak was a couple hundreed RPM latter and quite a bit lower. I attribute that to running completely stock exhaust and this causing slower spool up of the turbo, and more restriction in the exhaust flow over all.

Just an FYI... I ran the Buschur Turboback (No Cat), AEM Short Ram Intake, and an SAFC II that got dialed in at Agile and made 279.4. I had no boost control and was seeing stock boost levels.

I was also on the exact same dyno with probably nearly identical weather conditions.

Yank that crappy stock cat!
