Loose Screws under valve cover

Ok I changed my VC last weekend and when I was checking everything I noticed these 3 screws were super lose. I tightened them but is this normal that they get lose?

Definitely not normal. Did you have any headwork done at a machine shop?

I did not. The car has cams but had them when i bought it. So whoever did the work probably did not tighten them down. not sure but they are tight now.

There is no reason to touch those bolts when doing a cam swap. Unless, someone was fiddling with it and forget to tighten them back down.

Maybe they had a Kiggly hla on there, swapped the old oil pressure regulator on it, and didn't tighten properly. Either way scary. Know what I have caught a few times on several cars? The little nuts on the inside of the oil cap coming loose that hold the locking mechanism to the assembly. That would just be carnage if those little guys dropped down
