Stalling Issues - BOV/Intake related

I used to have an older Forge BOV (recirculated) and the Injen intake and i/c piping kit. It worked okay, but the Forge caused a massive amount of fluttering and driveability issues. I came across the APS twin vent BOV and gave it a try. This fixed all my issues that I had with the Forge, and I was finally satisfied.

Fast forward to this year - I decide to switch to a JM Fab intake with ETS full i/c piping. Immediately after installation, my car stalls almost every time I push the clutch in. The only way I can stop it from doing this is to slow down in gear until about 2000 rpm before shifting to neutral. It does this regardless of whether I'm in boost or vacuum.

I decided to throw the old Forge back on, and it completely fixed the stalling issue. I can't drive permanently with the Forge BOV, so I need some suggestions. I would love to keep the APS for driveability if I can get it right, but I don't know why it won't work with this intake setup. Anybody have a problem similar to this?

If it comes down to getting a new BOV, what are you guys having luck with that doesn't flutter like crazy?

Can you adjust the BOV softer-harder? I run a turbosmart BOV (recirc) and had to play with it a bit so it didnt flutter. Works perfect now, set way too hard straight out of the box

Im running an hks which I know everyone hates and says they suck leak cause flutter and surge, however I have boost tested mine to 35 psi with no leaks, it only flutters under very light throttle when my boost gaauge is at 0 or a little less, and I have never heard it surge under full throttle. Maybe I just got lucky with this one I donno but im one of the few that love mine.

Yeah I played with the adjustment a little last night, and now I tried a little more today. I got some barely noticeable improvement after backing out the adjustment screw by a significant amount. To make the car driveable, I would probably need the screw almost out completely. Then it probably wouldn't hold boost very well. I'll look into the turbosmart one.

I'm not sure how modded your car is, but you can't go wrong with a stock IX bov.

+1 the 9 bov is great and can hold up to 25-30 psi, give it a try if you have one sitting around.
