I think there were a few different 20g's. Like 5 and 6 blade etc.

I had one for a while and it surged like crazy. I think you may be happier with stocker.

There might be a reason its free.

Do a search, I would find out how much it costs to be rebuilt. It may not be worth the cost.

they way i look at it. its all about how much money is it going to take to make it work. you dont want to dump a lot of money into something that is not going to pick up much hp. if it needs a rebuild how much is that going to be. is it going to bolt right on or are you going to need other things to make it work. your little turbo upgrade could end up coasting you more then what you think may. so need to way if its worth it or not

I think you would have to provide more details to get a good response back. There are 20g turbos out there for DSMs, Evos, and Subraus. Do you know what it came off of? Also, I'm no expert, but I hear that a regular 20g isn't much of an improvement over the newer Evo 16g turbos. For the cost of the rebuild and possible fab/tweaking of your ic piping, you may not see enough gain to make it worth it. What is this going in anyway? Not the Jetta GLI, I assume
