Tial BOV Users..Info Help

I wanted to hear from some of yall running a Tial BOV as far as how it is nonrecirc. Do there seem to be any dying issues under boost throwing into neutral? What setups are yall running them on? I will be getting a reflash afterwards thats about it. THANKS!

I have seen a few guys running them with the stock maf and a tune, but your better off to just go with sd if you wanna run the non-recirc one. Otherwise, just get a tial qr.

Who tuned yours? Ive talked to Devin about it, he told me to just go speed density. Said its such a hassle with stock maf.

Basically it is always a hassle with a MAF, no matter what, retuned or not, some engines/tunes may accept it and others will not. Honestly that is the truth.
You are better off just going with what is known to work best, SD or MAP for BOV.....and since your not going standalone its SD.

I've used the BOV on both MAF and speed density. With tuning, the car will run acceptably, but parking lot driving will be a pain. Speed density with tuning is definitely the way to go.

personally i'd get the QR, then when you ditch the MAF, get the bottom Q half and vent

I've been on SD with a Tial for over a year now, couldn't be happier with this car. It's so smooth and fun to drive.

low speed driving with a MAF is never that great even without venting to the atmosphere when you compare the driveability to a factory speed density car
