You can disable the rear 02 via ECUflash...If its not then yes, the SES light will come on...

why dont you just weld the o2 bung in the dp. that comes with the wideband? and just keep all the lights off?

he might not want to drill into his nice downpipe. I didnt want to drill into my AMS downpipe so I just used the rear 02 location in the catback and I dont have a cel

On my Greddy Ti-c Cat back the O2 bung has a extender. I dont think that would be an ideal place for the Wideband to plug in. I dont know how it is on other cat backs, just sharing what mine is like.

That location is too far away. A WB should be about three feet down stream, that's why they provide a Bung to weld in the DP.

I have noticed with my car I had the same afr when my wb bung was in the downpipe, the catback, or being used with a sniffer. As long as the exhaust is leak free the readings will be very very similar.

That only works if you have a test pipe. Putting a wideband after a cat of any sort is pointless. Your AFR readings will be wrong, and so will a tune if one is done. Ask any reputable tuner if I am wrong.

I don't run a cat. But for those who don't have a cat there won't be much difference in readings from one spot to the next from my experience in the past 5.5 years
