Best Single TANK of Gas
340 was best tank at around 12.1 to fill and was mixed highway and city, but also stayed out of boost entire tank just to see what I could get. Oh yeah MR 6 speed so I am sure that helps a bit.
It was like 341- 342 somewhere around there, that why I was just saying 340. I get 320 almost every other fill. depends on my foot and how much I use AC.
I originally thought my millage was bad until I seen what other EVO owners were getting. Any other MR's getting that good of MPG's?
Its not tuned either so I am sure at this point running rich.
Im going on a road trip soon, I will see if I can best that with pics. Slow lane here I come!!!
For those of you who post "I DIDNT BUY A EVO FOR MPG" We all agree, but sometimes it challenge to see the other extreme.

The most I ever got was ~310miles and I can't quite remember the fill up but I believe it was over 13gallons.. something I didin't even believe the tank could accept and I thought I was going to run out of gas lol
This is on a 100% stock evo9

First I never bought this car with the intention of getting good gas mileage
I usually get between 230-270 on a tank with 11-12 gal per fill up. Lately I have been tuning the car to a leaner AFR during idle and cruise. Which wasn't that hard to do but getting the car to switch out of closed loop and stay there for light accel and cruising is a bit harder. My average tank goes for at least 300 miles during the week...weekends are another story as I will use another tank of gas before monday morning
Best I have been able to get is 337 miles and 11.5 gal on the fill up...mixed city/highway driving and not much boost.

Didn't mean to sound so **** btw, it's just that small figures, esp for the # of gallons can make a huge diff - sometimes people think oh I think im getting around 25mpg by rounding down a 12.2 gallon fillup to 12 but it makes a huge difference etc so I'm just trying to make sure

Back in 2007 on my way to the DSM Shootout, I had just installed my GM Maf and translator. I had to lean the mid-range way out in order to just be able to drive it. I got 340 miles to 3/4 tank of gas without hitting boost once.
I made it from Galax, VA to Dover, OH (340 miles) with just under a 1/4 tank of gas to spare. I didn't fill up the tank after that so I can't get an accurate MPG.

Not bad - that eeks out just under me - I'll add

I've broken 30 mpg twice, but I didn't run the tank anywhere near empty. In those situations, I was driving from where I live (Orange County, CA) to visit my parents (Ventura County, CA), but I usually like filling up as soon as I get there, so if that doesn't count, then you can just dismiss my post. Anyway, here are the numbers from that day:
06/05/2010: 103.6 miles traveled, 3.408 gallons of fuel to fill back up, which equates to 30.399 mpg. My Evo had 31,250 miles at the time of fill-up. I left early in the morning, so it was cool and didn't need A/C, plus I was usually driving at 65-70 mph. I just hit one tiny spot of traffic.
Just to clarify, I always use the same method to fill up and calculate my mpg. I fill up completely (letting the pump click off on its own, then I hold the trigger after until it clicks off again), then document my mileage (which is reset at each fill up) on the back of the receipt. Then I do it all over again the next time for consistency.
While I wasn't exactly hypermiling, I was certainly trying my best to get good mpg that day. But on a "regular" freeway drive, I still managed pretty good mileage:
12/06/2008: 135.6 miles traveled, 5.010 gallons of fuel to fill back up, which equates to 27.066 mpg. My Evo had 17,227 miles at the time of fill-up. I left at night to a cousin's house to watch the De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight, and was typically traveling 75-80 mph with the A/C on most of the time (since they live a bit more inland), plus I hit a few spots of traffic. Same fill-up method, and I filled up just before leaving and right when I got home.
But in terms of using a whole tank of gas (or close to it), I did pretty well another time:
04/13/2008: 293.4 miles traveled, 10.975 gallons of fuel to fill back up, which equates to 26.733 mpg. My Evo had 10,887 miles at the time of fill-up. I don't remember that particular tank, but I think I had driven to a friend's party a couple of hours each way.
Just to clarify, I have a bone stock Evo IX SE, currently with around 41,500 miles or so. The only non-stock things on it are wear-and-tear, like tires (stock sized Z1 Star Specs) that I didn't install until around 25,000 miles, and new pads that I just put on recently.
