Just beat my own record last night. Had 272 on the O.D. and refilled to 11.789 = 23.078 mpg. Amazing how some of you get 300+ to a tank. I do city driving like 85% of the time.

Just got 259.6 right after the 1/4 mark, it was like 9.56 or something......so 27.15 mpg, i have stage 1 flash thru cobb. I did a few fast pulls thru the gears and about 35-40%city and the rest open straight roads with hills at about 45-75

That's why right there

Joking aside, do you rev it out more or shift early? Do you clutch-in while coasting to red lights? 23 isn't bad at all for mostly city.

No choice in NJ.

FWIW, I just had my best tank in years - 20.3mpg - attributed almost solely to a mixed highway/city driving. Usually it's ~90% non-highway.

Best I got before light turned on was 300 but that was 80-90 mph and boost every so often.

Just hit 346.3 miles on my last tank. Light came on at 322 miles. I definitely had another ~20 miles in it as I filled up with 13.01 gallons. (So 26.6mpg). Not the best mpg per the thread, but up there as far as total miles

It's all about efficiency and the energy of the gas sold in your city. Some have more efficient cars.... Such as better compression from perfectly broken in parts, elevation, oil, tires, etc. Others simply have much better gasoline with different blends of Methanol. Some get lucky and have both, resulting in very high mileage.

You might just have many things going against you. Bad elevation, bad gas, weak spark, partially clogged cat, low tire pressure, etc.
