CWEST Font Bumper Install Question

Hey guys,

I have a few CWEST front bumpers that I just picked up and was going to begin test fitting. Before I started though I had a few questions about fitment with the stock crash beam.

First, does this bumper clear the crash beam? By the looks of it im assuming not.

2nd, has anyone modified their crash beam to fit? What did you have to do? what was the extent of the modifications? Pictures?

Thanks for the tips in advance

nope will not clear it at all

the cwest bumper comes in to much on the inside for the bar to fit

Now what you can do is you can use the cusco front bar brace and it will fit if you really want one. makes it look ok

RockmanX - Thanks for the pictures bud. The car looks awesome, i like those voltex canards.

Yeah im aware of the power brace but unfortunately i cannot use it. Because of the SCCA rules in Street Modified I cannot remove any of the stock crash beams. I am aloud to modify them but cannot remove them.

Im trying to see if people were able to keep the stock support and what type of modifications were needed to get it to fit.
