if your hitting fuel cut, sounds like a tune issue

you said you JUST installed the mvr and your hitting fuel cut. now your saying you had it on there for a week and it was fine?

if emery tuned the car, call him and ask him. fuel cut is messed with in the ECU, so obviously it is a tune issue

oh okay thats what i thought you meant.
were you using the same spring pressure on the old one as your new one?
what are you using to control boost?

is it 8 or 19psi you are hitting cut because you've told me two very different boost levels.

manual boost controller? leave both of the top ports open

i think you have one of the following issues:
something in the ECU changed
leak in the boost gauge line
leak in the signal line to/from gate

fuel cut is ecu controlled - if you are only getting 8psi there is no way the computer would cut you off

can you hear the gate opening?
