Teins look good that is about it... the previous owner ran them for over 30k miles with no problems. I ran Swifts on my previous Evo 9 MR and the Teins and I prefer the Swifts by far.... Struts are still fine on my 8 BTW after 30k on Teins. If you have an MR or can get a set of Bilsteins, then go with some Swift Spec Rs or Regulars Swifts.

The GT Worx are also a great alternative. And before anyone starts recommending Coils... don't recommend cheap Coils because you are wasting your money too. Cheaps coils are not as good as OEM Billys/HDs w/ GT Worx/Swift set up. Either spend the money on a set of Bilstein struts and one of the above springs or save and get a good set of coils. But if its for a Daily Driving then the Billys is the best option. Unless money is not an issue then a good set of Coils are a waste of money for DD. My 2 cents.

My next investment will be some Bilsteins and Swifts or GT Worx.

I had the S-Techs on my 04 GSR...the car looked great but it definitely rode on the front bump stops. Car also handled like crap. I ended up going with the Hotchkis springs which turned out to be perfect for the stock KYB shocks.

With my 9, I have the Swift springs with MR Bilstiens...best non-coilover setup hands down.

exactly. cheap coils = anything under 1500 IMO.. like megan etc. that's why i held out until now to get ohlins DFV. i wouldn't get anything less than the AST's that GTWorx also sells though, for real.
