maf what to do with it

maf what to do with it

hi all im still new to this so im sorry if this is in the wrong place now im in the middle of my build and i am doing a 2.4 motor sbr stage 3 ported head and a stm forward facing 6262 turbo now today i was just looking over things and i came across something i didnt think of be4 with the turbo up front what do i do with the maf senor now any help or info thanks guys

you cant run a MAF on a forward facing turbo set-up
you need to go speed density on the stock ECU or get an AEM or another aftermarket ECU

thanks thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure if i could do that with the stock ecu so where do i put the speed density im think on the upper ic pipe and then do i just tap into the old maf wire with the new sd wire

all you need for speed density on the stock ecu is a omni 4 bar map sensor. then you need to have you ECU flashed with the speed density stuff. check on the tuning section for more info on it
