Options for NON-maf intake pipe?

So I am getting all my parts to go to speed density. I am on the hunt for a non maf intake pipe. I know there is the stm 4" intake, looks a little overkill for the hta green. I have an stm intake pipe now. I would love to have the same pipe, with no recirculation tube and then just a little longer so the filter can sit behind the headlight and not right near the radiator fan.

I think buschur sells one too, but it too seems short, putting the filter right by the radiator fan.

Ideas?

Dejon Tool... or just reuse the STM one and cap the BOV port...

I though of that, but it just seems like, removing the maf and putting the filter directly on the pipe, outs the filter in a spot where there is a lot of hot air.

get a 45 degree coupler and a 45 degree pipe. Thats what I did when I went speed density, I used 4 inch since thats the size of my turbo.

That might be what I end up doing. If I dont come up with something before the shootout, I think I am just gonna cap off the recir pipe on the intake and flip it around so its on the bottom and throw a filter on there lol.

also if you wanted to make the intake further away from the "hot air" you could always get another coupler and a peice of pipe and make it extend towards the drivers side some more...
