1/8 mile run

All 1/8 mile times. So I went to the closet track in the area and it was a crazy night. I had some trouble getting it off of the line without bogging down. It was being a little weird next to the full promods and full rail dragsters. Everytime they revved it messed with my idle. After they left it was fine again. I ran a 8.4 at 95 the first time and a 8.2 at 96. The car pulled really hard once the it got off of the line. The third time I got it to slip just enough and got a 7.34 at 96. It finally felt really smooth and was it alot of fun. Thanks again to AWD Motorsports!!!!!

Nice. Are you still maf or sd? Im guessing maf since they are real finicky about loud noises at idle the rpms will dip. Mine does this too around loud diesels or bikes at lights or if the idiot in the honda gives me a rev up.

what is your power level? You can probably cut high 6's with a sick launch. You got the tranny and TC for it.

It has 463 HP and 430 torque at the wheels. I have a stage 3 Transfer with a Quaiffe center diff and a set of Shep's ring and pinion. I also have a Shep rebuilt transmission. I am hoping to out of the hole a little quicker.

7.3 at 96mph is a ver fast time. I'm guessing it's a low 11 second time in the 1/4 mile

I wish my drive train was setup like yours. I visited my local 1/8 about 6 months ago, had the worst time hooking. 2.300+ 60' mid low 8's to mid 7's. The issue was major slippage into 2 nd gear. First would hook everytime, perfect into 2nd gear but would sit planted until the clutch grabbed(only in 2nd) 3rd and 4th were fine.

Good news was I drove home without any issues.

Good times, your trap speed is fast. I ran at our 1/8th mile track this past fri and my best trap was 94. Your slower times were beating that lol Im having trouble with IC couplers, i need one thats a big longer than the standard 3", where can I grab one of these?

Only after several thousand dollars in replacement parts on nearly a stock power level engine and finally a Shep stage III Transfer case with a Quaiffe diff and Shep ring and pinion upgrade and a Shep rebuilt transmission. She is now good and holding. I pray it stays that way.
