Downstream o2 sensor

I'm getting a tune next week at Mellon Tuning. This may end up being a stupid question but my rear o2 sensor looks like whoever had the car before didn't use enough exhaust hangers and it has burred one of the wires off the sensor and it throw a CEL. Will this effect anything other than MPG?

i would get a new one cus ur downstream o2 should read steady flow after the upstream reads up and down. Do you have a wideband for the tune?

it will not pose a problem other than throwing a check engine light.

Okay great thanks chris! Yes i have a wide band i have never been under the guy until i lifted it to change the oil i found a half dollar sized hole in the exhaust right before the muffler and a cute rear o2. I fixed the hole with a welder and paused on the o2. I should be good to go then.
