New Oil Cooler Design..

Hey everyone.. know i'm stepping outta my turf but have a look at this for your Evo's..

Theres a company here called ARE who are making these Oil Coolers, which, they'll make it to the design of your grill !..

They look totally awesome, this photo is from an S13 with it, it looks the total part with your FMIC

I think is looks great. My friend is very interested in it, and has sent them an Email ( im not sure where he got there adress) He's going to get it for his 300zx. I think its a great idea. It diffintely is a lot different.

Even if yopu got someone over there in the US to cut one from an old intercooler for you, and then just weld the end tanks on and get it pressue tested, and make some mounts..

Wouldn't that block the air flow to your radiator and your intake?

Honestly, when I saw the title and byline (and the author) I expected it to incorporate coconuts, koalas, kangaroo's and a boomerang.

That's one awesome looking oil cooler. It's totally custom built? So, it can be built to fit the size of the Evo 6 front grill? Looking forward to it.

Cheers and Happy New Year!

The stock oil cooler is pretty big, I think something like that might be a downgrade or just a waste of money on the evo.

Stock oil cooler...

another problem, it looks like ***! another problem, the stock location feeds as best an airflow as can be with a dedicated spoiler opening.
