Z06 sucks ball. Bad move even though I got a srt 4 for money reasons the evo is still the best cars around. Do you want to spin everytime you floor the throttle? My advice is to mod that evo and all it a day. The cars paid off why would you want a payment plus the car will still sit because you catch the train to work.

Yes it is nice not to have a car payment - but I think I will be very happy with a z06. From what I've read on this forum from people who switched to a z06 from a evo they all say the car is in a different league. Still havn't pulled the trigger on anything yet. The evo is awsome - brakes and handles like a dream - I just want to step up to something less "boy racer" as some have put it. Don't know if it justifies a car payment - still trying to figure that out hence why I posted to try to get convinced one way or another.

Just sold my 05 C6 because it had electrical issue and worse drivetrain issue then my 03 evo so Im back in the AWD BEAST.
Battery dieing every day and having to constantly be on a charger. Worst mistake of my life selling my 9 swapped 03 evo for a C6 BAHH!.. And with the Centri Charger on the vette = no traction at all.....

Besides Vettes are only good on the highway!

 

Thanks for the reply - I have heard the 2005 c6 has many issues that have been fixed in 2006 plus.

 

From a financial aspect, if there are no payments on the car and it's not "costing' you a lot of money, it would be silly to purchase another car in which you had to make payments.

 

i would ask at least $18k or $19K and no lower, that is unless your in dire need for cash.
and you should really think about it before you do it, you might regret it.

be prepared if you put it here on evom, people on here love to lowball the hellout of you when you try to sell your car.... trust me i know lol
