ball joints?

Hi I have a evolution 7 and the ball joints have failed. I got evolution 8 ball joints of eBay and don't fit. I always thought that 7 8 9 the same. On eBay they sell some. For 7 8 9. Or 7 8 9 10 or 8 9 or 46 or 4 5 6 7. So I am abut lost

So are the evolution 7 ball joints the same as 4 5 6?

I was under the impression that the Evo didn't have removable ball joints, and the entire lower control arm assembly needed replacement?

Ball joints are available aftermarket. Mitsubishi sells only the complete lower control arm.

Installing ball joints in the lower control arm is tricky and correct installation is essential if the vehicle is going to be safe to drive. Experienced people have screwed this up. Mitsubishi is thinking about liability.

Did mine on my own. Was straight forward like any other ball joint. Don't know what you're talking about!
